Voice Assistants
Thanks to the Easydom Live platform, Easydom is effectively the first complete and professional home automation system that can be controlled by the two market-leading voice assistants.
Easydom enables your entire home automation system to communicate with Google and Amazon voice assistants. Simply sign in with the Microsoft credentials used for Easydom Live, and the assistants will automatically learn all the system’s functions. They will recognize and allow you to interact with all connected IoT devices on your network through simple voice commands.
How to use Easydom with Google Assistant
To use your Easydom system with Google Assistant, you need to connect your system to the Google Home app. It’s quick and easy to do.
Start by downloading the Google Home app from Google Play or the App Store (you can see its icon on the right), then install and open the application:
1 – On the Google Home home screen, tap the + Add (A) button.
2 – Tap the + Set up device (B) button.
3 – Select and tap ‘Works with Google’ (C).
4 – Scroll through the list of available smart home services or use the magnifying glass in the top right corner to search for Easydom, then tap (D).
5 – Tap the button to go to the Microsoft Account Login used to activate your Easydom Live subscription (E).
6 – Authorize Google to access the system (F).
7 – The application displays all discovered devices. If any devices are missing, say ‘Hey Google, sync Easydom devices.’ By selecting the devices, you can organize them into different rooms (G).
8 – The added devices can now be used through the Google voice assistant.
How to speak to Google Assistant
To control your Easydom system via Google Assistant, use the following phrases:
Turn on “Kitchen light“
Turn off “Kitchen light“
Set “Living room light” to 20%
Is “Kitchen light” on?
Turn on “Living room”/”Kitchen“
Turn off “Living room“/”Kitchen“
Set “Living room” to 50%
Activate “Scenario name“
Run “Scenario name“

How to use Easydom with Alexa
To use your Easydom system via Amazon Alexa, you must link your system to the Amazon Alexa app. Doing so is quick and easy.
Start by downloading the Amazon Alexa app from Google Play or the App Store (you can see its icon here on the side), then install and open the application:
1 – Open the Side Menu (A) and select “Skills & Games”.
2 – Use the magnifying glass at the top right (B) to search for the Easydom skill.
3 – Press the “Enable to use” button (C).
4 – Press the button to proceed to the Microsoft Account Login used to activate your Easydom Live subscription (D).
5 – Close the window (E) to return to the app.
6 – Press the “Discover Devices” (F) button to begin searching for the devices in your system.
7 – Once the search is complete, the app will display how many devices or scenarios have been found. Press “Set Up Device” to proceed with the configuration of individual devices (G).
8 – Select the device you wish to configure and press the “Set Up Device” button (H). You will then be able to choose which group to add the selected device to.
9 – Once the configuration is complete, you can find all the added devices in the “Devices” section (I).
How to speak to Alexa
Starting today, if you have Easydom motorizations, you can ask Alexa to “Discover my devices.” Once they are found, you can start opening and closing your windows using voice commands.
To control your Easydom system via Alexa, use the following phrases:
Alexa, turn on “Kitchen light”
Alexa, turn off “Kitchen light”
Alexa, set “Living room light” to 30%
Alexa, brighten “Living room”/make “Living room” brighter/increase the brightness of “Living room”
Alexa, dim the light in “Bedroom”/make “Bedroom” dimmer/decrease the brightness in “Bedroom”
Alexa, dim “Bathroom light” by 15%
Alexa, brighten “Living room”/make “Living room” brighter/increase the brightness of “Living room” by 40%
Alexa, set “Bedroom thermostat” to 20°
Alexa, lower “Bedroom thermostat” by 2°
Alexa, increase “Bedroom thermostat” by 2°
Alexa, turn on the light in “Kitchen”
Alexa, turn off “The sprinkler”
Alexa, increase “The thermostat” by 2°
